Privacy
The full privacy policy is published with Stoke’s first release. Until then, here is what the app does today.
- Your contacts and notes live in an encrypted file on your Mac. Its key lives in your Keychain.
- Stoke has no account, no servers of ours, no analytics, and no crash reporting.
- The only request Stoke makes on its own is the preview of a link you paste, from that link’s own site.
- The AI is Apple’s on-device model. Your notes aren’t sent to Apple’s servers or ours.
- Messages and Mail are read for dates only, unless you turn on more.
- Connecting an AI app like Claude is up to you. It sees what you ask it about, never phone numbers or emails.
